There are countless animals with disabilities in need of homes, and little Marigold was one such kitten. Found wandering on the street on a rainy day, she was taken to a local animal hospital where the doctors and animal nurses fell in love with her. Unfortunately, she had a serious infection in her eyes, and it was decided that only one eye could be saved. In the months before the surgery, one of the nurses took her home and nursed her back to health—enough for her little body to sustain the rigors of an enucleation (eye removal). A month later, Marigold is as frisky as ever, she’s navigating her environment with some ease, and she will be going to her forever home where two youngsters and one older kitty—coincidentally named Marigold—is awaiting her arrival!
